Energy Efficiency Programs
We’re helping Texas “take a load off” by sponsoring a variety of energy efficiency programs for homes and businesses in our service area.
Our programs provide incentives to contractors -- also called Energy Efficiency Service Providers or Project Sponsors -- to install key energy saving measures in residential and commercial facilities.
These programs are a part of a statewide effort to reduce energy consumption and demand. The Public Utility Commission of Texas helps to oversee the programs and establishes the incentive fees paid to the Service Providers.
The result is a classic win-win:
- lower energy costs and improved home comfort for consumers
- a brighter energy future for the state of Texas
