We Appreciate Our Retail Electric Providers

Oncor conducted the "2010 Retail Electric Provider Workshop & Dinner" in Dallas and Houston. The events were held on December 2nd in Houston and December 14th in Dallas. More than 140 individuals representing 40 Competitive Retailers and 2 EDI Service Providers attended the events.

Topics covered at the workshop included a Regulatory Update on the new Critical Care Rule, Deferred Payment Rule and Pre-Paid Rule; A panel discussion on Tampering Switch hold updates; Electric Vehicles; AMS Update and Oncor's new Customer Experience Initiatives. The workshop was followed by an appreciation/networking dinner.

"We appreciate the REPs, Service Providers and our guests from the OPUC – Office of Public Utility Counsel taking time from their busy schedules this time of the year to attend," stated Mike Murphy – Director of REP Relations, "it's always good to shake hands and express our appreciation to those responsible for the continued success of the Texas Competitive Electric Market."
