Small Changes. Better Texas.

Small Changes. Better Texas.

Oncor has been based in Texas since the start of its more than 100-year history. Oncor employees live and work here. We are vested in the future of Texas.

"It's our commitment to this state that pushes Oncor to make choices that make Texas a better place," Senior Vice President, Business Operations Brenda Jackson said. "Some steps are large, like our construction of 800 miles of the Renewable Energy Super Highway from recycled, made-in-Texas steel, and some steps are smaller, like our inclusion of two new hybrid-powered bucket trucks in our fleet."

The two new hybrid-powered bucket trucks begin work in Oncor's service area in April 2009. These more environmentally-friendly bucket trucks are a shining example of Oncor's efforts to improve the world around us.

The new hybrid-powered bucket trucks join other Oncor initiatives that have a positive effect on our state. Jackson said she believes even the small changes make an impact.

"One thing is for sure, no matter how big or small the efforts, Oncor is making Texas a better place — one change at a time," she said. "Making many small changes can add up to a big difference."
